Windows 10: Microsoft Hotspot Windwos 11 Issues

Hey guys, i have this question.I am Running on ASUS ROG Laptop ALL drivers Updates to latest and Reinstalled and I have Ethernet Connected to my computer. NOW the MAIN problem is whenever I share my Hotspot trough "Mobile Hotspot" application by Ethernet my other devices has internet BUT the computer which is sharing it no longer able to lode any website that im trying to reach. No exclamation marks and it does say that i have internetOnce again My other devices Have internet access from Hotspot but my computer - which is sharing hotspot - does not have it altough it is saying there is int

Thanks for the reply.

Let us follow these steps one by one to check if that makes any difference.

Step 1: You may run the Network Adapter troubleshooter to check if that helps.

• Type Troubleshoot in the Search bar of your PC and open the Troubleshoot settings.
  
• Scroll down the right pane and select ‘Network Adapter’ and click on ‘Run Troubleshooter’.
  
• The PC will then start checking for the possible errors and will possibly detect the issue.
  

Once this is done, restart the PC and check the wifi hotspot connectivity.

Step 2: If the issue persists, then you may want to
update the Network driver and check the status.

Step 3: You may also want to change the adapter settings.

• Open Mobile Hotspot settings on your PC.
  
• Press ‘Windows key + I’ to open Settings and go to ‘Network and Internet’.
  
• Scroll down the left pane and select ‘Mobile Hotspot’.
  
• Go to ‘Related Settings’ from the right pane and click on ‘Change adapter options’.
  
• Identify your mobile hotspot adapter, right click and go to ‘Properties’.
  
• Open Sharing tab and Uncheck “Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection”.

We appreciate that you have tried the suggested steps above. Have you tried to connect other devices to the mobile hotspot on your PC?

Since the issue is still the same, we suggest that you uninstall/reinstall the network adapter driver and check if this will resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate for Network adaptor and click on it expand it.
  
• 
  Right click on the device and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic network adapter driver.
  

We can also update the network adapter driver. Skip step 3 from the above steps and right click on the device and click on update.
