    Microsoft Inc calling about license and registration ! To fix your computer!


    I had a call today about my computer that the license and registration is not anymore valid. At the other end of the call is named Peter Williams he said, he is Technical support engineer from Microsoft Inc. He was looking on my desktop and files after I sense, that there were something wrong with this transactions. He closed my webbrowser after I logged in on my online banking to pay the transactions, which my bank account was still open. That is when I stop the phone call, cut-off the session and called my bank to warn them about any unusual activities on my account. Did this happen to you t

    microsoft license agreement SCAM CALLS

    OMG why is it that NOBODY is able to do anything about WHOEVER is behind these calls saying that 'MY MICROSOFT LICENSE AGREEMENT IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE'?

    I get at least 40 calls a day....today they have kicked it up to every 20 minutes! i have reported this to DO NOT CALL registry, called 886-3997 and politely asked the company to stop with this maddness. i dont have a license agreement with microsoft so
    i dont know how they got my number in the first place.

    PLEASE PLEASE.................. what is the suggestion that you offer as a rememdy to these overwhelming calls. who do i call or write

    the number that the robo calls are coming from is 877- 886-3997 and it directs me to call 877 866 3844

    I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue.

    Please answer these questions to assist you better.

    • Which troubleshooting steps you are referring to?
    • Have you installed all pending Windows updates?
    • This issue persists in Local account or Microsoft account?

    Please be informed to use Windows Store and other apps on Windows 10 you have to log in to
    Microsoft Account. So if you are not logged in with Microsoft account then log in to Microsoft account and check. Also install all pending
    Windows updates in your PC. Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

    Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. If you have any pending updates remaining to install, kindly install
    them and check if it helps.

    If the issue persists I suggest you to refer the link below suggested by
    Ramesh Kumar on April 6, 2015     which Is marked as answer.
