    This issue is apparantly quite common. MS customer service India don't take commitments seriously and are quite disrespectful in the sense that wasting a callers time is of no concern to them. My issue is a Win 10 update failure which has been recurring on my desk top since 1703. Each time I call MS the suggested solution by the 1st line techs is always the same ,download the iso or use the update tool. The issue was escalated to a tech level two who suggested a bios update and a video card driver update which took some time since my OS is located on a Raid 1 and needed to research the safest method of flashing the bios without destroying it. After updating the bios as suggested, Win 10 still failed to update with the same error so I contacted MS again. I always get India unfortunately and the issue after 2 hours of de-ja vue was escalated to level 2 and a window was agreed to during which MS would call. I made arrangements to accomodate the time agreed to but MS did not call. Now I'll contact the so called "support service" again and try to resolve this problem before MS stops supporting 1703 which will occur in less than a week. The only OS that MS has ever released that was relatively stable and stayed in it's lane was XP. Every other Windows release has been ****.
