Windows 10: MICROSOFT IS A JOKE, they can't even remove a simple expired CREDIT CARD in WALLET.

YOUR BEST IT AND XBOX SUPPORT HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO REMOVE A EXPIRED CREDIT CARD IN THE WALLET SHUT YOUR BUSINESS DOWN!!!

My credit card expires in October, this year.

And thinking there was a glitch in my "wallet" I did remove and then add the card back into the system.

still no joy

 

Windows Phone 8.1. Wallet App does not update Credit Card Information

Thanks for your input here... I had to vary what you suggested a bit, but not much, and it did work.

I had 2 different credit cards showing the wrong expiration in my 920 Wallet App even though my Hotmail account (accessed via the web browser) had the correct credit card expiration info.

I was unable to delete the credit cards from my 920 Wallet App because it said, "Further action required" and instructed I log into my Hotmail account and delete the credit card from there.

Before you can delete a credit card, that card cannot have an Hotmail subscription attached to it. If it does (mine does) you have to set up another credit card and switch the Hotmail subscription to it. Then you can delete the first credit card. I switched
my Hotmail subscription to my second credit card and then I deleted the first credit card (via logged into Hotmail on the web.) After doing that you can go to the 920 Wallet App and it will show the deleted credit card in "pink" and it will allow you to delete
it from the Wallet App. Then you go back to Hotmail via the web browser and enter in the card info like it was a new credit card. When you look at the Wallet App again, the credit card info is there and correct.

When I was done with the first credit card and had it correctly entered and showing, I switched the Hotmail subscription service back over to it and went through the entire process again for the second credit card.

I now have a 1520 - guess what app I am NOT using on my 1520? The Wallet App - like I want to go through this all the time. Fix the problem.

 

Add Credit card to wallet

I understand you want to add your credit card to your Wallet app on your Windows Phone, is that correct ?

First of all, your credit card has to be registered in your Microsoft account, you cann add it here:

https://commerce.microsoft.com/PaymentHub/PaymentInstrument

Then, You have to use the same Microsoft Account on your Windows Phone, you can check that in
settings > emails+accounts, the email address displayed under "Microsoft account" has to match with the email address you use to register your credit card.

Once you checked that, you will have to synchronize your Microsoft account on your Windows phone, go in
settings > emails+accounts > press and hold your Microsoft account > sync

Your credit card should now appear in your wallet.
