Microsoft Comfort Curve 3000 is not recognized by Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center

After going through the details it looks like there is a compatibility issue.

I suggest you to install the key board driver in compatibility mode from the below link and check if this helps. Follow the below steps.

Which devices are supported by Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center?

• Right-click on the setup file of the driver and selectProperties.
• Select Compatibility tab.
• Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
• Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Microsoft Optical Mouse 3000 not working right with Windows 10

Microsoft to Release HD Web Cams

Microsoft is to release soon two Windows Live LifeCam webcams, , the VX-3000 and the VX-6000. Both are HD ready but only the VX-6000 will have true HD video recording capabilities. Microsoft VX-3000 camera specifications:

• 640x480 resolution video
• Windows Live Messenger integration
• HD Stills: 1.3 megapixels
• On the fly video effects
• Pan/Zoom/Tilt capabilities
• Automatic face tracking
• Built-in microphone

Microsoft's VX-6000 will have all the above features except that for video, it will be able to capture at 1.3 megapixels at 30 frames per second and 5.0 megapixels for still images. The webcams will be sold for $49 and $99 respectively and will support the new Windows Live Messenger.
