Windows 10: Microsoft Jigsaw Frequently Fails To Load On Laptop

Microsoft Jigsaw frequently hangs when loading on my Laptop (i7), I have amassed over 1,045,000 of Gold.


My desktop (also an i7) only shows 686,735 Gold. My desktop does not show all of the Puzzle groups I have downloaded an the puzzles I have completed.


I have reset Jigsaw on my Desktop and it still shows 686,735 Gold.


I don't want to reset Jigsaw on my Laptop as I think I will lose a great proportion of my Gold.


Is there a way of recovering my settings to my account so that I can reset Jigsaw ?

Microsoft Jigsaw Will Not Load

I was getting Error Code: 0x803F8001 both before and after "uninstalling" Microsoft Jigsaw. It worked perfectly for years, but stopped working within the last week. It would start to load, and eventually bomb out. I have tried the following suggestions:

• Uninstall Jigsaw. Now I cannot reinstall Jigsaw. Get Error Code: 0x803F8001
  

• All steps above from Jomari Arc . Step #4 took longer than expected, but it did eventually do what you
  said. These steps did not allow me to reinstall Microsoft Jigsaw.

• Microsoft Windows Store App. Troubleshooter - It ran and said it fixed a "possibly corrupted cache" . This did not allow me to reinstall Microsoft Jigsaw.

In a similar community, titled "Microsoft Jigsaw Error code Ox803F8001", I tried all of the steps from Loraine Mon, from this link: Microsoft Jigsaw Error code Ox803F8001

Again, this did not allow me to reinstall Microsoft Jigsaw. Messages are "downloading", then "acquiring license", and then it errors out with Error Code: 0x803F8001

Day after day, same problem. Xbox and Store and Solitaire all work fine. Microsoft Jigsaw is the problem. When it was installed, it bombed out trying to open. After "uninstalling", it will not reinstall.

I believe the problem is with the game as this is not the only place it is being discussed. Windows needs to fix their mess once again.

Oh and yes, mine wont load either.

On July 10th it "fixed itself" and worked. I caught up on the daily challenges.

On July 11th I am right back to the same error code.

I am now in process of following the steps to clear the store as suggested. I will update how it worked when I reboot.

It seems to me though, if it had been my computer, my files, my store data; why would it fix itself then rebreak?
