    Windows 10 Issue with Task Scheduler 'MCC has detected an error in a snap-in and will unload it'.

    I was able to fix this problem by turning on “Microsoft's .net Framework 3.5.“ I followed the instructions given by "How to" How To Fix MMC Could Not Create The Snap-in - Troubleshooter [I checked the "Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Activation"
    block, but unchecked the "Windows Communication Foundation Non-HTTP Activation" block.]

    How to leave

    I joined the Microsoft Community by accident. I was looking for a solution to a problem (which I didn't find here) and thought I had to join to READ the replies (because I clicked the Reply button, because the link to view replies is non-intuitive). The
    next thing I know, I receive an email welcoming me. I don't want to be on one more mailing list. The FAQ say how to Join but not how to unjoin. Googling for how to unregister or leave gives no results.

    I apologize if this is in the wrong category but none of them applies to this question.
