Microsoft keeps asking to confirm parental consent for my child but I've already given it twice

Microsoft keeps asking to confirm parental consent for my child but I've already done it. I already provided parental consent twice now and in the family safety app I can see 'remove consent' for my child's account, so consent has been given. However, weeks after giving it, I still get a notice to confirm parental consent for my child. "Second notice: Take action to update account". I don't want my childs' account to get deleted: Yes, I have provided consent. Why is this not working?

    :)

  2. How to confirm parental consent

Hi! I received an email from what looks to be Microsoft Family Safety that says I need to log into my account to provide parental consent for one of my kids. Since you can never be too safe these days with unsolicited emails, I logged into my Microsoft account on my own, not through the link in the email, but I see nothing in my account or family account asking for parental consent. The email says my child's account will be suspended, and then permanently deleted if I don't confirm consent in the next 2 months. If this is real, where do I confirm parental consent?

Adult account being asked for parental consent - Microsoft Family

    Hi Jason,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community forum.

If you’re an adult, but you got a message asking for parental consent, it’s because you’re a child in your Microsoft family. Even if you’re over the age of 18, you can still be a child in Microsoft family. For more information and help, see
    Age verification for parental consent.

Tick ‘Yes’ if you find the answer helpful.

    Merry Christmas!

    Regards,

Error when try to give parental consent for child Microsoft account

    I received this email

If you haven’t confirmed consent when we previously contacted you, this is a reminder that if you don’t provide consent, your account will be suspended on October 25, 2023

Your child needs your help to continue to access many Microsoft products, websites, online services, and apps like Outlook, OneDrive, Xbox, Bing, Skype, Windows, and Cortana. You’ll need to sign in to your Microsoft account to provide consent.

If you don’t provide consent confirmation for by October 25, 2023, they’ll no longer be able to sign in to their Microsoft account. Sign-in attempts will prompt your child to seek the required parental consent.

To prevent disruption in access, sign in and confirm your child’s permissions.

When I go to give consent I get this error message

    Something's not working

    It's not you, it's us.

I have tried using different browser and several times without success.
