Windows 10: microsoft keeps denying my payment no matter which card I use, my account is active, my...

I am trying to add money to my granddaughter's account on my family plan my account is active, my payment methods are current, my bank cards are active, yet no matter which card I use - I get the error - we're having trouble processing your transaction - contact MS Support lot of good that does - Initially my bank flagged it as suspicious and sent me a text asking if this was me.. I responded yes, and they responded that all was good with my account, please try my transaction again. yet MS keeps saying they can't process it....

Using a Microsoft gift card for purchases

Thanks for your response.

I do get a method of payment option, but it does not list my Microsoft account. There is also a place for debit/credit/gift card payments, but my gift card number does not match the spaces needed.

Any other suggestions?

 

APO Option for Microsoft Account Payment Options

Under "Account">""Payment Options">"Add Payment Option">"Choose Payment Option to Add">"Add a credit card or debit card", the drop down menu for "State" does not include AE or AP.

• Are you getting any error message while updating the address?
  

When I put "APO" in the "City" field, the error is: "Check the city in your address. There appears to be an error in it."
