Windows 10: Microsoft keeps forgetting my password

I have a new laptop, a Surface Studio running Windows 11, I have been using it for about 5 days and the password stopped working. I did update Windows a day before. This seems to happen only if the device goes to sleep and when I start back in it asks for my password only to be denied. The only remedy I have found so far is to force shut down hold the power button down for 5-6 seconds it reboots then my password works. Not ideal, as it loses any program I have open and takes time to do it. Temporary Fix - I changed the setting so it no longer sleeps in either battery or plug-in modes, but

WP8 keeps "forgetting" exchange password

Following the suggestion from support team on twitter, I have removed the account and re-added it. Now it also keeps forgetting the password periodically, but asks for the password twice.
