Windows 10: Microsoft keeps sending email and receipts to old address

Hello, I've searched and searched for a direct way to contact MS on this issue. My last hope is asking here. Microsoft sends any email communications to a very old yahoo address I don't use anymore though I still have access, even though the only address registered with my MS account is different. I've used the 'new' one to sign in for many years and have not figured out why it will not send email to the one I use to sign in to all MS services with. I've checked the help article, and went to remove it from my aliases or registered email addresses, and it's not even there. All that's listed i

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

Nokia Music purchase receipts

I have a monthly subscription to Nokia Music+ but my purchase receipts are going to an email address that is no longer associated with my Nokia account. This old address appears nowhere in my account details and the new email address is firmly checked as
the address to send payment receipts to, but still I get the receipts coming through to this old work address which will soon be killed off. Any suggestions?

You can change your billing email--the address we use to send you receipts and other emails about your order. This does not change the email address you use to sign in to Microsoft Store.

• Go to
  account.microsoft.com. Select Payments & billing > Address book.
  
• You may be prompted to choose your billing address. Just follow the instructions on the screen.
  
• If you have no billing email address, select Add billing email. When you're done, select
  Add.
• To change your billing address, under Billing email select
  Choose billing email.
