Windows 10: Microsoft Keyboard & Mouse Bluetooth Issues

Hi guys, recently purchased Microsoft Precision Mouse & Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Desktop:

I have connected both to my laptop via Bluetooth but if I leave the laptop for some time when I get back the keyboard sometimes fails to wake up.

I have already gone through all the laptop power options and adjusted for the devices to allow wake up on device. I have also adjusted the Bluetooth settings under Device Management for the same thing - nothing has fixed it.


The weird thing is, when it happens I have to switch off the mouse from the switch on the bottom and then the keyboard works, and then I turn the mouse back on again and then I'm back to normal, but this is a crazy workaround.


It seems to be a Bluetooth connection issue to me, I've even changed the Mouse switch to number 2 as it has 3 devices that it can work with and I still get the same issue.


Any ideas would be appreciated?
