Windows 10: microsoft laser 5000/6000 mouse not detected by mouse and keyboard center

Dear All, mouse and keyboard center on w10 pro 64 bit can find just the keyboard and not the mouse. They are same version same bundle version 5000 v1. Keyboard is shown as 6000 but the software works fine. I cant configure the mice and this is leading me crazy as wheel doesnt respond properly. Please helpThanksLEonardo

I wanted to report an issue with Microsoft Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. Windows 10 MS Keyboard and Mouse Center is not compatible this mouse. The suggested solution on the MS forum is to install the Windows 8 Keyboard and Mouse Center emulating Windows
8.

After the install single clicks had to be repeated multiple times, double-clicks did not work at all.

Removing the Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center and replacing the MS Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 with a Logitech Anywhere MX wireless mouse using the Logitech SetPoint driver resulted in the keyboard and mouse working.

Is Microsoft's Wireless Keyboard and Laser Mouse 6000 v2.0 compatible with windows 10?

Just ran through a few issues trying to install the intelli type pro 6.1 from disk on win10 pro.

The wireless leaser mouse 6000 and 6000v2 get installed with default drivers, but the left select button

does not work.

I had a Logitech 320 m/k combo without there software installed and the keyboard was all messed up,

adding keys or wrong keys when typing , so removed it for now.

But the MS mouse cant be configured without the software, planed, going with another OEM on anything new.
