Windows 10: Microsoft Licenses Procurement

Hi Team,We are providing CS solutions to one of our customer and we need to procure MS licenses for Win 10 LTSC machines and WS2019. What details need to be given to procure the licenses ? Do we need to register with the end-user details ? Or else can I procure with my company details and then transfer it to the end user ? Can we procure the licenses separately from the vendor or should it be only through the OEM ? I would like to know the standard process to procure Microsoft windows licenses. Thanks.

Can Windows 10 pro volume license procured in one country be assigned to a laptop procured in another country?

I have situation where My whole IT team operates from India (Bangalore), and we have 50+ remote users across Africa (Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, etc.)..

My question is - How do we manage the OS license if we do not buy OEM.? Can we procure windows 10 pro volume licenses in India through MS partners, and assign to devices procured in these countries? If yes, how? If no, what is the best approach?

( recently one of hiring manage procured laptops in Africa, not with pro license/ they are with windows 10 home license, and our goal to upgrade them to windows 10 pro)

Please help me with above issue, you quick reply is highly appreciated.

 

What is the cost for Windows Compact Edition 7, 8 and IOT core 10 for OEM license ? How can I procure them ?

I am looking for OEM license prices for Microsoft Windows Compact Editions (evaluating 7 , 2013 and win 10 IOT core).

Can someone please help me on how to procure the license as well ?

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
