Windows 10: Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 doesn't work with Windows 10

Your LifeCam VX-6000 product does not work with your operating system. Can you make it work, please?


I don't care many years you've been a Microsoft volunteer: your imaginary qualifications are meaningless to me. I would be grateful if you just made your webcam operate with your software, preferably without directing me to download a driver from an external non Microsoft site and preferably without locking the thread, at least until the issue is resolved to my satisfaction.


I am the customer. Please treat me as such.

Lifecam VX-6000 No Longer Works in Windows 10

Tried all three suggested troubleshooting steps. Installation still identifies that the program for installing Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000 drivers is incompatible with the version of Windows selected.

The Lifecam VX-6000 webcam

* Excellent modern usb camera

* Not obselete technology

* Not suitable for "end of support"

Regarding the Lifecam VX-6000 webcam driver.

* You have sold thousands upon thousands of these webcams for Windows.

* Then you upgraded Windows

* You have then neglected to release a Lifecam VX-6000 webcam driver for Windows 10

* This is extremely bad for the environment and for your customers.

PLEASE:

* Create and release the Lifecam VX-6000 webcam driver for Windows 10
