    Task Manager took over for most of what the old versions had in MSConfig. It's not exhaustive list.

    The AutoRuns program shows stuff that's way too advanced for a casual home user, and it can cause serious issues if mis-used. While Task Manager makes it as easy as turning something back on.

    Also, just FYI: Microsoft did not build AutoRuns. They purchased it, and hired the guy that built it. He's awesome.
