Windows 10: Microsoft Meadia Player

My situation is kind of complicated so bare with me. First I have the newest version 1803 (OS Build 17134.345) of windows 10, and I have WMP 10. Everything is fine with this program, except for 1 thing. The way it searches for album info. You see, I think this program is different from the original that came with WMP 10. I can't be sure because I wasn't aware of the name before it changed. The new name of the search program is “Musicmatch-ssl.xboxlive.com”. I feel this is a different program just by the name shown. That is what dose xbox have to do with windows media player. I feel this is a different program just by the name shown. That is, what dose xbox have to do with windows media player? This xbox program is completely differentin operation than what it use to be, and I don't like it! I don't know how I got the xbox program, but I'm pretty sure I put it in with out knowing, or unaware of the consequences. What I want is, if I'm correct in all my assumptions, know how to get back to the old way.

windows meadia player has stopped playing DVDs

MY MEADIA PLAYER HAS STOPPED PLAYING DVDs, I`ve had this app from before I`ve downloaded windows 10,SHOULD IT STILL WORK?

Windows Meadia Player still jumpy- all versions for 98. Any new ideas?
