Windows 10: Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse is paired and connected to Windows 11 but does not work

I spent 3 hours on this and did all the things that were advised such as not 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'. Reboot in safe mode etc. Slept on it overnight. SOLUTION: fixed by removing Dell mouse pad that I have had for 10+ years.Yep ... that was it.

• What happens when you try to connect the mouse to the PC?
  
• Do you see the mouse driver listed in Device Manager, under Mice and other pointing devices?
  
• Did you try to connect and check the mouse in any other Windows 10 PC?
  
• Are you aware of any changes, prior to this issue?

Microsoft Modern Mouse (Bluetooth) Scroll Wheel not working.

the scroll wheel on my Microsoft Modern Mouse (Bluetooth) stopped working. I have done all troubleshooting steps: system updates, installed Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center, disconnected mouse and reconnected. Nothing has worked yet. Haven't yet tried
it on a different PC. Don't have another Microsoft PC. Have a MacBook, but not sure the mouse can work on that. Any suggestions?

 

Microsoft bluetooth mouse 3600 paired but not working "the solution"

If your Microsoft bluetooth mouse 3600 stopped working

here is the steps to solve it:

1. remove the device from the Bluetooth connected devices

2. Buy Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 - Microsoft Store (chose downloads then download mouse and keyboard center for your windows version "will be detected automatically" )

3. install the download application

4. pair your microsoft mouse

5. the application will detect the mouse

6. its working now
