Windows 10: Microsoft Modern Mouse Bluetooth Scroll Wheel not working.

the scroll wheel on my Microsoft Modern Mouse Bluetooth stopped working. I have done all troubleshooting steps: system updates, installed Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center, disconnected mouse and reconnected. Nothing has worked yet. Haven't yet tried it on a different PC. Don't have another Microsoft PC. Have a MacBook, but not sure the mouse can work on that. Any suggestions?

There can be numerous causes of the issue that you're having with your mouse scroll wheel speed such as outdated drivers, dirt, damaged cables, and more. To correct such issue, we suggest that you adjust the scroll speed of your mouse wheel using the steps
below:

• Click Start > Settings.
• Go to Devices > Mouse & touchpad.
• Under Choose how many lines to scroll each time, move the slider to the right to make the speed of your mouse wheel faster.

With regard to cleaning the inside of your mouse, you have to contact its manufacturer to get proper instructions.

Mouse Wheel Scroll Too Fast

Hi,
I have a Microsoft Keyboard & Mouse 2000, but, each time I slow the speed of the scrolling using the mouse wheel it works fine, until I reboot the PC. Then, on restarting the speed is super fast again (too fast to really control).
Does anyone have any suggestions, please?

Mouse wheel scrolling is stuttering

Have you tried the mouse on a different computer? It might be CPU/GPU load on the computer. Even Microsoft's default GPU driver can cause major stutter when scrolling with a wheel, regardless of mouse.
