Windows 10: Microsoft mouse suddenly taking multiple tries to select anything

I have a several months old Microsoft mouse that has been working perfectly until yesterday.It is wireless, and uses the little USB thing to connect to my laptop no cord.Yesterday, it still worked to control the pointer, but would require multiple clicks to open any file or press any button, etc. Not double clicks, but like 4 clicks for it to "take". the rest of the mouse operation worked as normal.The laptops track pad worked normally. I tried another cordlesss mouse and it worked normally.however, taking this preferred mouse to another device, it still worked normally! The problem is with

Microsoft bluetooth mouse 3600 suddenly undetected


I'm using a Microsoft mouse 3600 on Windows 10, all worked fine until suddenly the mouse stopped working, it disappeared from the Bluetooth detection and can't be found anymore. I need to say Windows performed an update yesterday but it still worked fine after the update. I've tried replacing batteries, updating Bluetooth driver, went one step before the updates and nothing. I obviously tried troubleshooting about anything.The mouse does work on other laptops.

• Look for the mouse icon, then click it.

mouse is so laggy suddenly
