Windows 10: Microsoft Mouse Warranty Replacement in Singapore

I bought a Microsoft mouse in late 2018. It has "3 years hardware warranty" printed on the product packaging it was in.


The mouse buttons are getting unreliable. Sometimes it double clicks. Sometimes it doesn't register the click. A few months ago the right mouse button started having this issue but this week the primary button is also getting this issue.


I have already done troubleshooting. The behaviour is the same when connected to other computers including Windows, Mac, Linux. The wireless dongle is just inches away from the mouse. So it narrows down to the hardware failing.


I want to know what to do to get mouse replacement while under warranty. I am in Singapore.


I have already visited https://www.microsoft.com/en-sg/ and clicked on "Support" button which brings me to https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg. I clicked "Contact us" at the bottom and chatted with someone but they can't help get the replacement done and I got redirected by the person back to https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg. Then they gave me https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4051701/global-customer-service-phone-numbers which is useless to me because I am a home user and the "Get help" button brings me back to support.microsoft.com. What now?


And as I am trying to post this, the items in the "Category" box doesn't even contain PC accessories???


This is frustrating.

How do I register for the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse warranty

Hi,

I bought the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse from a retail outlet in Singapore. I tried registering the warranty via the Microsoft Accessories Product Registration at https://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-sg/support/product-registration and there was no option
to register a mouse. The only options are mobile phone and Surface.

Can I ask how long is the warranty for the mouse and how can I register online for the warranty?

Aaaand the ironic thing there is, that no doubt WOULD void the warranty.

Seriously though, thanks for the suggestion but I plan to wait for their response. They said they can't authorize a replacement unless all the troubleshooting steps they emailed me don't work, which they didn't.

I've also contacted Newegg, and they said they'll do anything they can to help get me a manufacturer replacement in the case of the mouse not working with any of Logi's troubleshooting steps and if Logi refuses to replace it.

I had an MX500 that easily outlasted this one with lots of use. Seems to me the more complex the mouse, the more failure prone they are.
