Windows 10: Microsoft .NET framework 4.8

Hey there, so recently I had problems with CLR error 80004005, I searched the internet for solutions and came to the conclusion that it was a problem with my .NET framework.


I tried to uninstall the framework in hopes to reinstall a new working version, but after trying to reinstall the framework again, it came up with ".NET Framework 4.8 or a later update is already installed on this computer."


I have looked at the troubleshooting page and came to no avail when looking at the troubleshooting page the section where it says "if a later version is installed" describes that no action is needed, but obviously, something needed to happen to fix this.


I have already ran netfx repair tool, nothing changed.


I reset my pc but kept the files, nothing changed.

I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

Try the following steps:

• Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
• Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
• Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer
• Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer.

no, problem is still actual for me.

have MSI Notebook, problem is

System.MissingFieldException: Field not found: 'WPFOSD.GraphicsSwitchWnd.VGAType'.

at MSI.SCM.SCMII.WMIEventMath(Int32 WMIEvent), after i make something by S-BAR buttons like adding volume or something like that.

There's a possibility that Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is already part of your Windows that's why you are getting the error message
Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is already a part of this operating system. You do not need to install the .NET Framework 4
redistributable. when installing it. To verify if it was already installed, kindly follow the steps below:

• Click on the Start menu.
• Type Turn Windows features on or off.
  
• Press Enter.
• Check if you have Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0. If so, tick the box beside it.
• Click on OK.
