    Microsoft.net Framework InstallUtil.exe window keeps popping up on my laptop. How do I stop it?


    This has been going on for many, many weeks now, and I am completely frustrated by it. Please help STOP it!


    Everytime I turn on my laptop, I get a pop up window every 15-20 minutes. A DOS screen, and the path to this pop up window says


    C:\\Windows\MICROSOFT.NET\blah blah blah\ Framework\ InstallUtil.exe


    This pop up window is driving me crazy! I have tried every which way to get rid of it, but no success as yet. Please Help!

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

    Try the following steps:

    • Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    • Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
    • Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer
    • Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer.

    I am having these two windows pop-up every time I startup my computer. I have no idea what they are and what is causing them.
    I am reinstalling Microsoft .Net Framework 4 as of right now.

    no, problem is still actual for me.

    have MSI Notebook, problem is

    System.MissingFieldException: Field not found: 'WPFOSD.GraphicsSwitchWnd.VGAType'.

    at MSI.SCM.SCMII.WMIEventMath(Int32 WMIEvent), after i make something by S-BAR buttons like adding volume or something like that.
