Windows 10: Microsoft .NET Framework "Unhandled Exception.... The remote server returned an error. 404...

Hi!


So I'm having a bit of nightmare with this error message, it appears every time I startup about a minute or so after boot. I have entered countless forums and tried different techniques including:


Performed scan on Command Prompt

Unchecked and rechecked .NET on Windows Features

Rebooted inbetween each sequence

.NET Framework Repair Tool

I have also installed the latest Windows update I was holding back on.


Nothing seems to be working! Everytime after booting this error message appears, anyway if anybody could help me that would be amazing, the Details under the error code are as follows:

Microsoft .NetFramwork error !

Sir. This is me. Yesterday it said Microsoft .net framework the remote server returned an error (404) not found .

And now it said microsoft net framework unhandled exception has occurred in your application an exception occurred during a webclient request. (

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

Try the following steps:

• Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
• Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
• Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer
• Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer.
