  1. Microsoft Network Real-Time Inspection Service - uses all GPU's at the same time at 100%!? Why?

I have this issue that Microsoft Network Real-Time Inspection Service process starts itself up randomly and then using both my GPU's at the same time at 100%? Not only does it take up all GPU resources, it eventually over heats my whole system, which then shuts down!? I've seen GPU temps well above 90C before shutdown. First thing I taught I caught up some kind of a crypto virus, and then I read the follwoing from MIcrosoft:The Microsoft Network Real-Time Inspection Service" process also known as NisSrv.exe is part of Microsoft's antivirus software. This service is always running in the backg

Network Realtime Inspection Service uses 100% of my GPU

    Hi,

I've tried to suspend the real-time protection and it stops running Microsoft Network Realtime lnspection Service.exe

But it's not safe and I'd like to find a solution. I've tried to remove the most recent update but it didn't work. What can I do to stop if from using 100% of my GPU ?

  3. Network Realtime Inspection Service uses 100% of my GPU

    Hi Lulucmy,

Welcome to post in Microsoft Community. I'm Mosken, let me help you figure it out.

According to your description, I knew that you find that "Microsoft Network Realtime lnspection Service.exe" takes up a lot of your computer resources, which causes the computer to heat up. You try to delete the application, but the program will automatically resume after each restart. Is that right?

The Microsoft Network Real-Time Inspection Service" process (also known as NisSrv.exe) is part of Microsoft's antivirus software.

This service is always running in the background of your PC, monitoring and inspecting network traffic in real time. It's looking for suspicious behavior, which indicates that attackers are trying to exploit security holes in network protocols to attack your PC. If such an attack is detected, Windows Defender shuts it down immediately.

If you want to suspend the program from running in the background, you can try turning off real-time protection in Windows Security. Win + Q to open the search box, enter ''Windows security', Enter to open "Windows security" > "Virus & threat protect on" > "Manage settings" under "Virus & threat protection settings”, turn off the "Real-time Protection".

NOTE: Turning off real-time protection may bring security risks to your system, please operate with caution.

Also I noticed that you may be a Windows Insider Program member, so your system is not as stable as the normal version. If this happens after you install a new system update, you can try uninstalling the most recent update and see if it works. "Win" logo key + "Q", enter "control" to open "Control Panel" (viewed by Category) > "Programs" > "Programs and Features" > "View installed updates", sort by date, select to uninstall recent updates , restart.

The above steps are provided based on the information I have learned so far, I wish that will be helpful to you. If your problem still cannot be solved by these steps, you could tell me the specific situation in the next reply. I will continue to assist you in solving the problem.

  4. Microsoft Network Real-Time Inspection Service - uses all GPU's at the same time at 100%!? Why?

My GPU 100% usage by "MS network realtime inspection services.exe"

    Hi hailt.proaudio,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are experiencing high GPU performance issues with MS network realtime inspection services.

Windows Defender is configured to report any detected attacks to Microsoft. You can disable this feature as needed. To do this, open the Windows Defender Security Center app, click Virus & Threat Protection in the sidebar, and then click the Virus & Threat Protection Settings . Disable the Cloud Delivery Protection and Auto-Submit Samples options.

You can temporarily turn off this feature for a period of time to see if it will reduce the GPU usage. If you are using the computer to browse the content at risk, I suggest you not to turn off this feature.

Or you can try using defender's offline scan to detect if your computer is at risk before trying to disable this feature.

    Windows defender-virus and threat protection-scanning options-offline scan.

While performing an offline scan will cause your computer to restart, please save your work and documents.

Please feel free to let me know how it goes.
