Discus and support Microsoft network services help in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Microsoft network services has taken over my computer basically it's holding it hostage I'm not able to log into my Windows remote Manager in services...     Microsoft network services has taken over my computer basically it's holding it hostage I'm not able to log into my Windows remote Manager in services menu as it's been disabled remotely and there's a username and password that I didn't place all grayed out there not allowing access to my home pc. anything I try to do it's showing refer to server as an error message. The quick start button won't work along with other features that involve the RPC. I look on my router and on one of my ports it says Microsoft - DS and other ports are occupied as well with one labeled Amanda I believe I have bee

  2. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

  3. Network Adapter PROBLEM

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    First Verify if the WLAN service is started and set to automatic, if the WLAN service is stopped, I would suggest you to start the service and put it to automatic.

    Step 1: Please follow the steps to
    start the WLAN service.



    • Click on Start, type in services.msc
      and press Enter.

    • Select WLAN Autoconfig from the list, Right click
      properties.

    • Change the startup type to Automatic.

    • Click on Start button.

    • Click on Apply, Ok.
    Restart the computer and verify if it works.

    Also check if all the dependencies are also running. Try the steps to check Dependencies.


    • Right-click on WLAN Autoconfig and select Properties.

    • Click on Dependencies, you will find all the dependency services under box labeled this service depends on the following system components.
    Step 2: Run an inbuilt Network troubleshooter.


    • Press Windows + X key and select
      Control Panel.


    • Type troubleshooting and select troubleshooting.

    • Click on view all on the left pane and select
      Network adapter.

    • Follow the on-screen steps and check.
