Windows 10: Microsoft News App - Maybe A Direct Link to Access News Story Previewed On Win Desktop ?

You I really do like the Microsoft News app. I like the format, friendly. kind. great GUI.


You know what would be even better?

A direct click / link to the story page itself from the live tile story preview on our windows desktop. Currently, clicked access leaves me in the middle of huge sea grid of other stories other than the one we clicked on.


I find you can save about 5 minutes from opening up a browser and searching for the story featured from another news source rather than searching, searching and searching on Microsoft News.


Any chance to access some future convenient reading?

News app shows different stories between Lumia 950 XL and Desktop

Here's another Windows 10/Windows 10 Mobile difference I noticed this morning. While mobile, I was reading news on my Lumia 950 XL using Microsoft's news app. Returned home and wanted to continue reading a story, but instead use my desktop with a significantly
larger screen. I opened the news app on my desktop and the stories listed are different than the stories on the phone. In fact, I can't even find some of the stories available on the phone in the desktop news app.

Doing a little more research shows the apps (though supposedly the same) do not even have the same menu choices. The app on the Lumia 950 XL has the following choices: Today, Watchlist, News, Investing, Personal Finance, Real Estate, Careers and Videos.
The desktop app has All, Top Stories, US, World, Crime, Election 2016, Opinion, Offbest, Technology, Entertainment, Money and Sports.

What's the deal, Microsoft? So much for a continuous user experience across devices.

Has anybody else noticed this? When do you think Microsoft will fix this so the same information appears in both apps.
