Windows 10: Microsoft News & Interest on Taskbar - Can't default a Watchlist item permanently

On the Microsoft News & Interest Taskbar - I have selected my 3 Stock Symbols for my Watchlist. They may work a time or two but then they disappear again and it tries to always show me Cryptocurrencies or something I'm NOT interested in. I'd like my 3 Watchlist items to always stay there. Sometimes I have to use the down arrow and choose Watchlist Items but sometimes that's not even on there to choose. How do I get my 3 Watchlist to stay all the time and not have to keep setting them?

Changing the default font on Microsoft Word 2010 has no effect on new pages

Perform the following steps to set the default font for new Microsoft Word 2010 documents.

1. Right click the "Normal" Style on the Home ribbon and click Modify.
   
2. Change the font to Times New Roman, 12 (or whatever you would prefer).
   
3. Select the "New documents based on this template" option.
   
4. Click OK
   
5. Close and reopen Microsoft Word to confirm.
   

For Microsoft Excel, perform these steps:

1. Select File menu, Options item.
   
2. Select the General category.
   
3. Change "When creating new workbooks, use this font"
   
4. Click OK to confirm
   
5. Restart Microsoft Excel as instructed.
   

 

Windows 11 Widget for Watchlist Movers Won't Allow Stocks to be Sorted by Name or Reordered

After adding my stock symbols to the Windows 11 "Watchlist Movers" Widget, I can't sort them or reorder them.

When I click on "Go To The Watchlist" at the bottom of the widget, it takes me to "My Watchlist at Microsoft Start" which allows me to manage my list of stocks and manually reorder them in my primary Watchlist. However, the reordered list in "My Watchlist at Microsoft Start" is not transferred over to my Windows 11 "Watchlist Movers" Widget.

So, back to my original issue, is there any way to sort or reorder the stock symbols in the Windows 11 "Watchlist Movers" Widget?

 

Microsoft Office Taskbar Jump Lists

Hi Ken,

For us to better assist you with the taskbar Jump Lists issue, we'd like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made to the computer prior to this issue (e.g. Windows updates)?
  
• Does the issue also occur on other pinned apps/files?
  

In the meantime, we suggest to turn off/on Jump Lists in Settings. To do so, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + i to open Settings, then select
  Personalization.
• In the left pane, click Start.
  
• Turn Off then turn On Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on the Start or the taskbar.
