Windows 10: Microsoft not accepting debit card

I want to renew my Microsoft 365. And i am using my State Bank of India VISA debit card. Why is that not working??

NOT ACCEPTING DEBIT CARD

When I tried to buy the full game from windows store ,I went to add a payment option and then I entered my Debit card details correctly but it said we are not able to authorise your
debit card but when I use the same card to buy something from other stores or other sites so it works .After trying it again it said "Try again something happened on our end".I really want to buy the game but the windows
store is not accepting my card.So please take an immediate action and Thank you for taking out your time and reading this message.

Debit Cards?

To the best of my kowledge, the accepted forms of payment in Marketplace are with a credit card or debit card (debit cards with the
Visa or MasterCard logo), or to use your mobile phone bill (depending on your mobile operator’s agreement).

That said, it only shows credit cards on my available option so I am assuming that a debit card with the
Visa or MasterCard logo would be accepted. I do not use debit cards so I cannot offer anything from personal experience roscros.

 

BUYING PAID APPS WITH DEBIT CARDS

My debit card is constantly getting rejected because the Windows Phone Store can't authorize it. I have successfully added my debit card in the list of payment options and have been charged for adding the card three times. But when it comes to buying any
App from the store, the authorization fails. I have checked and re-checked my billing address, phone number, and other important details with the bank and they are correct to the best of my knowledge. I just can't understand why the card is not accepted.

The card number and the CVV are also 100% correct.

It is a VISA Debit Card.

I have a Nokia Lumia 525 and I live in INDIA.

Thrice I have been charged a surcharge by the same Microsoft company for adding the debit card afresh. If the site can AUTHORIZE and ACCESS the card for those surcharges, then why can't it accept my payment for buying Apps.
