Windows 10: Microsoft not sending Text Message Verification on my number

Hello,My account was blocked by Microsoft for I don't know the reason. When I try to login, I got redirect to "Help us secure your account" page. after that I need to Verify my account, and insert last 4 digit of my phone number, when I send the code, I don't receive any text.- my number still active- I don't have blocked number in my sms- I don't have option to send my Verification Code to my email.

Microsoft Verification Text Messages

Hi all,

I was an IT administrator for a business, which included managing their office 365 account.

I have recently moved on from the company, but I am receiving Microsoft verification text messages regularly.

I believe these are from users who are being prompted with a PIN number on their device which I set up.

How can I stop these text messages being sent to me?

I spoke to Microsoft support and they suggested asking my previous employer to delete my account, but the text messages aren't related to my old account.

Unless someone else has found a different way, all I do is copy the mobile2 number and go to messaging and add a new text message and paste the mobile2 number. So, suggest putting in as a feature request.

 

Sending SMS text messages

I want to send a plain text message using Windows Mobile 5 to one of my contacts by selecting the person from my contacts list then selecting the send text message option. Doing this puts the contacts name and phone number in the To field of the message
and when I try to send the message it asks me which phone number to use. I select the mobile number from the list, click select, and then get the error "The text message account cannot be used to send email messages". If I manually enter the contacts mobile
number in the To field, the message will send succesfully.



My question is, how do I get the mobile number only to appear in the To box instead of both Contact name and Mobile number when selecting a contact and selecting Send Text Message?
