Windows 10: microsoft office

For some reason; every time I try and start outlook; it encounters a problem and crashes and closes on me. Even after i use the office disc to to a install repair; it works for a short time; then the problem starts all over again. It says microsoft outlook has stopped working. This is starting to get on my last nerve even for a computer geek like me. What can anyone else make of this. This is with office 2010 by the way.

Desktop background gone black after a few minutes of use on laptop.

Hi I am a Windows User / Microsoft User.

I have a problem with my laptop when I use it for a while (about 5-10 minutes) the taskbar goes black and when i close the applications I had open my whole desktop background and taskbar goes black and i have to reset my computer all the time (I have tried
to watch youtube videos on how to fix it but it talks about the explorer having to be named explorer.exe and I already had that.

Please contact me if you find a resolution.)

Microsoft Office

You don't load Office to each user. The programs are loaded once and shared by all users. However, each user will have their own configuration set-ups and data files. Office will be available in All Apps under Microsoft Office.

 

anyone?.........anyone?? can anyone shed light on this one?

 

Add in not working well would be my guess.

 

Just some thoughts:

Are using older programs that might be interacting with office? Try running office on its own and see if it works. We have a couple of programs that will not open if outlook is open.

Also, have you had previous versions of office on the drive and uninstalled them or have more than one version on the drive. This has caused many problems for some folks.

 

Well; I did have the trial version office 2016 on my system. Is that possibly conflicting with the 2010 version(s)? Because if so I will have to remove the trial versions of 2016 as those are just that; trial versions whereas my 2010 office is a full paid for suite.

 

Could be. I had trial version few years ago, then installed an older version - gave me fits, tried a removal program from Microsoft which did nothing, never did get it all taken care of. You might google if you haven't already, I found lots of info on my particular problem - many others had the same problems.

On all of my windows10 rigs right now if outlook is open, my personal info manager will not open. Skype and edge both will also keep the program from opening. Have a Bible program that also interacts with outlook????
