Windows 10: Microsoft password says incorrect when attempting to use recovery options

I've been having some technical issues that I don't feel are relevant here my screen keeps flashing white and nothing loads and I've exhausted pretty much every other solution I could think of. I tried reseting my pc, which requires logging into my Microsoft account. I ended up having to reset my account password from my phone because I couldn't remember what it was initially, but when I tried to type it it in it said it was incorrect. I've tried several times but every recovery option that needs the Microsoft account password will not work.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

Lost password and lost recovery option

Hello,

If you lost password and recovery option as well, there is no other method you can use to recover password unless you try attempts to remember it.

I suggest you to go ahead by creating new Microsoft account.
