Windows 10: MICROSOFT PASSWORD

I have two laptops - one which I use for work and one for personal use. They ALWAYS had the same log in and password however a few weeks ago my "work" laptop forced me to change the password, which I did and I assumed that this would also follow for my personal laptop and desktop. However this is not the case and I have continued to use my old password on two machines and the new one on my "work" laptop.Today my "work" laptop forced me to change again so I tried to change it back to the original but it wasn't having any of it - hence I now have yet another new password on one machine.Why - a

Lost My Administrator Password

To which "this" are you referring?
- If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
- If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.
