Windows 10: Microsoft Patch KB5021233 and CognitiveTPG Label printer Issue

After installing this patch the label printer takes one minute to install each label instead of 2 seconds. Is anyone having the same issue?

Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

1. What is the make and model number of the Printer?
   
2. Since when are you facing this issue?
   
3. Have you made any changes to settings prior to this issue?
   
4. Which version of Windows is running on your device?
   

You may try the below suggested steps.

1. Go to devices in Settings
   > Double click on the printer > Click on
   Printer Properties > Go to Advanced tab.
   
2. You will see “Printing Defaults”. Click on it and set the option from the drop down menu and click on
   OK and check the status of the issue.

Security Update for Microsoft Windows 11 (KB5008215) on Zebra Label Printer LP 2824-z and LP 2824 Plus

Windows 11 installation worked with the Zebra Label Printer LP 2824-z and LP 2824 Plus.

As soon as Security Update for Microsoft Windows 11 (KB5008215) the printers stop working.

I uninstalled he Security Update for Microsoft Windows 11 (KB5008215) and printers started to work.

Anyone any suggestions or is their a patch?

Kindly check and try the steps below and see how it goes.

- Connect first your label printer and turn it on

- Go to the manufacturer's website from the link below and look for the model of your printer

- Click on the model of your printer and download the driver for Windows

- Install the drivers for the label printer and for the process to be completed

- Click on Start then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners to check if the label printer can now be seen from there
