Microsoft Pay ?? Why do Microsoft not promote this ??



Many of my users and many other business and home users in Australia ask the question:



Why are Microsoft Payment options not available at any businesses or web sites ?



I get concerned when I talk about Microsoft to people from around Australia when they say who is Microsoft as Microsoft never advertise ?

Microsoft, Google and Yahoo! Pay $31.5m for Promoting Illegal Gambling

Technology giants Microsoft, Google and Yahoo! have agree to pay $31.5 million to settle claims that they promoted illegal gambling. However, none of the companies contested or admitted that they were guilty of such an offence, which accused them of running adverts for illegal gambling websites between 1997 and June this year. The $31.5m breaks down into $21m from Microsoft, $3m from Google and $7.5m from Yahoo!. Some of the money from the three companies will be used towards funding for the International Center for Missing and Exploited Children, public service advertising and adverts warning young people about illegal gambling. Microsoft promotional emails

I have been receiving Microsoft promotional emails ever since I bought a Microsoft product in October 2015. I have unsubscribed at least 5 times using the unsubscribe link in the email, and each time (except the first time) I unsubscribed, Microsoft claimed
that I was not subscribed to any promotional emails or newsletters. I affirmatively selected the boxes that asked if I wanted Microsoft to stop contacting me, and for Microsoft to not share my information.

I also accessed the Microsoft Promotional Communications Manager and unsubscribed from everything. I've unchecked the boxes that ask whether it is okay for Microsoft to contact me or share my information. I've done this at least twice.

I continue to receive promotional emails from Microsoft, with the most recent one being today. How do I get Microsoft to stop emailing me promotional emails?

 

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
