Windows 10: Microsoft Pen Not Working in Powerpoint and Camtasia, Windows 11

I upgraded to Windows 11 earlier this year and also upgraded from a Surface Book 2 to a Surface Book 3. I was hoping that this would better streamline my work as I often record and write on my screen for educational tutorials using Camtasia. I have been sorely disappointed to find that, though there were plenty of glitches with Windows 10 on the Surface Book 2, creating videos with my new "stuff" seems impossible. I have gone back and forth with Camtasia support, trying different configurations, only to conclude that the problem seems to be with Windows 11, Surface Book 3, PowerPoint, or perha

PowerPoint file crashes PowerPoint upon opening

since this happens in some of the computers only, suggest that you open the file on working computer and copy everything and paste to a new powerpoint file.
most of the time it works to me. *Smile

2. What happens when you try to write?
   
3. Are you aware of any recent changes made on the device prior to this issue?
   
4. Which version of Windows is installed on your device?
