Windows 10: Microsoft phone crashing on updates from microsoft store

Hey all!So this caught my attenion in the last month or so..Basically microsoft phone or phone link as it is called now is crashing each time there is an update on microsoft store available.Note that i never used the app or for the matter of fact even clicked on it.The update of the app goes trough tho,its just the crashing that i dont understand.I have 3 different machines one was built 3 days ago with a new fresh windows install and all up to date and in each of them the app crashes on updates.All thre machines are completely different so theres that.This problem began i believe around a m

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

App store and Microsoft account

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Your Phone App on Microsoft Store

So I run a routine check on all of my computers each day and that consists of checking for updates everyday as well as app updates on the Microsoft Store.

The issue pertains to the Your Phone App on the Microsoft Store. When I check for app updates, the said app always updates repeatedly but doesn't have the date as current, the date says it was last updated from a past date.

I am posting a screenshot to explain:




If I close out the Microsoft Store app and open it again, the Your Phone App update is no longer there as if it was never updated.
