Windows 10: Microsoft Phone Link - Text Messages SMS keeps popping up as Notifications

I am using Microsoft Phone Link together with my Windows 11 PC latest updated OS and patches and my Apple iPhone latest updated OS and patches. Not all the time, but most of the time - seems to be random - when I receive a Text Message SMS, it arrives as a Notification and not as a Message, meaning I have no option to reply + it's extremely confusing and makes very little sense.I have tried to identify whether issue occurred when receiving Apple iMessages or standard SMS messages, but no logic seems to apply. Seems to be totally random.Please advise.

How do you forward a SMS text message (if possible) from the Phone Link app?

SMS is actually sent via internet Email

On a phone when you sent a text to [standard 10 digit phone number] it is actually sending via internet email to the proper portal.

To sent a text from your Email to me it would be [my 10 digit phone number]@sms.myboostmobile.com
To a T-Mobile phone it would be [10 digit phone number]@tmomail.net

A bit clumsy but can be done

SMS (text message) notification dissapears

On my Samsung SCH-i760 the onscreen notification and flashing light apear for new SMS messages, email, voicemail, et al. Typically, the notification will stay there indefinitely until I dismiss it or otherwise address it. Recently, the SMS notification
apears but seems to dismiss itself after a few minutes. Somewhere between 5 and 15 minutes the notification is gone.

I noticed this because I was constantly grabbing my phone and not realizing I had a text message. I had to scroll through the notification bar on the Today screen, or go to the Messages application to see that I had a new SMS message.

I've made sure that notifications are enabled (along with the flashing light and sound). But if I send myself a text message from any website online, I get a notification, a few minutes later the phone powers down into sleep mode, and then if I wake the phone
back up 5-15 minutes later, the notification is gone.\

Any ideas?
