Windows 10: microsoft photos app windows 10 will not allow me to copy and paste elsewhere?

Upon cleaning up my computer and transferring photos to an external hard drive I discovered a lot of pictures missing from my file explorer. Upon further searching my entire system for them I found them in Microsoft Photos, no biggie I can copy and paste them back to my pictures folder, OR SO I THOUGHT! It will not allow me to copy and paste them or move them in any way, shape or form! Is there a work around for this as all my Christmas pictures are in the blasted app and I do not want to lose them. I have tried to copy and paste, it only freezes up and does nothing, same thing with sharing. I

The Photos app brings together pictures from all your devices using OneDrive, so that you can browse them by date, album or folder. It also automatically enhances photos, and creates albums for you, to showcase your best shots.

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to change the Default apps in the setting app and verify the result. You may follow the steps in the below:

• Go to settings and system.
  
• Click on Default Apps and select the appropriately.
  

Method 2:

I suggest you to reinstall Photo app using the PowerShell command
and reinstall using the Windows store. Follow the below steps.

• Open the　Start　menu, type　Windows PowerShell　in the search bar.
  
• Right click on the　Windows　PowerShell　and select　Run as　administrator.
  
• Enter the below command to uninstall the Photo app.
  

• 　　get-appxpackage　　*Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Photo app and check if it helps.

Follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Type Windows Powershell in search box.
• Right click on Windows Powershell and select
  Run as administrator.
• Copy and paste the following command.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage

• Press Enter key.

After uninstalling the Photo app I suggest you to download and install the app again and check.

i need help copying and pasting inside windows 10 app folders and subfolders

Hey guys, ok I have an issue I have just spent the last two hours trying to figure out. Basically I am trying to copy and paste inside a specific windows 10 app folder under program files, but everytime i try do so windows states you need permission to perform this action even though I am the administrator and I have changed the advanced security options to allow me to modify windows 10 app folders under the advanced settings.


In all of my google searching I havent found any solution so far so if anyone here knows to how to do this I would greatly appreciate it and thank you.
