Windows 10: microsoft photos application shows degraded colors

as u can see photos look dull when viewed in Microsoft photo as compared to irfan viewer. why is this happening?

Microsoft photos app not showing up in Default app list. Jpg Pics opening in TWINUI

Hello,

I am getting an error "Class not Registered" while opening my JPEG images. I have right clicked and checked my available apps list to open JPEG file I could not find "Photos" app in that list. Instead TWINUI was set as a default app. How to disable TWINUI and
restore Microsoft Photos app to open my photos. I tried to find what TWINUI and thought of uninstalling it .But could not get any file or application named TWINUI in my system. I even tried to open Photos app directly from search bar it showed a dull colored
result where other apps are in regular color.

Any suggestion to reinstall the Photo App will be deeply appreciated.

Microsoft Photos color mode issue

Sorry, but that is actually the opposite of the problem.

The problem is that it is default printing in monochrome, when it should be color. And it does
not happen in any other program but Microsoft Photos. Those settings are already set to color, including the Device Settings tab (which you did not mention). That "Color Printing Mode" on that tab is set correctly
already, too.

When I open up, Microsoft Photos shows my default printer, which is the black and white. When I switch to my other printer, the color one, it still comes up with the Color Mode (in this program only) set to Monochrome, even though the preview shows in Color.

You can switch it (and it works then), but you have to switch it every time.

Windows 10 Photos App Has Color Problems

I appreciate your attempted help but so far I don't think anyone knows what they are talking about when it comes to my problem. There are a lot of suggestions (directions) to change color profiles on my computer. But does anyone REALLY know how to do this in Windows 10 for Photos?

Settings>Display does not permit any changes to a color profile of any kind on my computer. The only color profile that is listed is for my Samsung monitor and you cannot change the profile. There is no option to do anything with any software profiles.
Control Panel>Color Management (accessed via the search for "Color" as CMArbres suggested) also only allows changes to hardware device color profiles. I do not have a problem with my monitor. It displays the color differences from two instantiations of Photos at the same time on the same screen.

If someone knows how to change the color profile for a specific instantiation of Photos please provide a hint of how to do it.
Throwing out generalizations is just wasting your time.
