Windows 10: microsoft photos : can't go through images correctly

when i click on a picture in photos i can only use the arrow keys to move between two pictures, the chosen picture and either the one to the left or the right of it.

if i want to move to another i have to hold down another key and then press the left or right arrow, i have been looking at the settings for a way to get it back to normal, but i have had no luck whatsoever.


if anyone knows how to deal with this, i would be happy if you could tell me how.

Icons from apps aren´t displayed correctly

Do the apps work fine apart form the icons not displaying correctly? If so I would suggest you to run an SFC scan and check if it helps. If the issue persists you may run DISM command and check.

Follow this steps:

    Press Windows+X.

    Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
    
  • 
    Type the command SFC /SCANNOW and
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit
    Enter.

Windows 10 default image viewer

• Type Default Programs.
• Check whether Windows Photo Viewer is listed in the list.
• Left click on the photo viewer and select the option paint.
