    Microsoft Photos, Groove Music and some other apps not functioning.


    So after i upgraded my laptop from 1809 to 1909. some of my Microsoft apps were missing such as Photos, Store, Groove, etc. After googling and trying all the answers suggested in the microsoft community it still didnt work. Later i thought an upgrade to 2004 might help but no luck. Although my Store was back and working well but my Microsoft Photosi installed it from store was still having trouble not opening although its shown this time. Also i couldn't Install Groove Music. PS i have lots of ms-resource on my start menu>others.

    i cant get rid of that too i am thinking this might be the cause for this issue. Please help and Thanks in advance.

    I wonder if Groove Music App will eventually have all the functionality of WMP, and others, and more!?
    I thought a 'Lyrics' flyout would be a nice touch:

    Hello,

    Here are the steps on how to uninstall Groove Music app using Windows PowerShell:

    • Open Windows Powershell as Administrator (by searching Powershell from the taskbar)
    • Copy and paste the following command into the PowerShell prompt, press Enter to remove the Groove Music App on your Windows 10 system:
      get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneMusic* | remove-appxpackage
    • Restart your PC

    Let us know how it goes.
