Windows 10: Microsoft Photos has broken the start menu

Microsoft Photos has broken the start menu on Windows 10. When you open the start menu, it immediately closes. The problem is in the tile of this program in the menu. Since the menu does not work, you can turn it off through the search window. After unpinning the program tile, the start menu works again.Maybe my post will help someone until the problem is fixed.

Microsoft Photos broken on local user account.

The MS Photos app is broken on my local user account. It appears dark in the start menu and won't open. In Settings/Apps when I try to run a "repair" on MS Photos the working circle spins endlessly. In the admin account it repairs instantly.

How can I repair MS Photos on the local account?

Okay, I ran both commands, and the broken Netflix start menu item was still there, so I restarted my computer and it was still there. I made sure the spacing was right and they seemed to have run properly, I just forgot to take a screenshot as proof before
I closed the Command Prompt.

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to change the Default apps in the setting app and verify the result. You may follow the steps in the below:

• Go to settings and system.
  
• Click on Default Apps and select the appropriately.
  

Method 2:

I suggest you to reinstall Photo app using the PowerShell command
and reinstall using the Windows store. Follow the below steps.

• Open the　Start　menu, type　Windows PowerShell　in the search bar.
  
• Right click on the　Windows　PowerShell　and select　Run as　administrator.
  
• Enter the below command to uninstall the Photo app.
  

• 　　get-appxpackage　　*Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage
