Windows 10: Microsoft Photos updated: Doesn't compress clips and desaturates videos. Help?

Win 10 photos app no longer compresses videos

Welcome to the Microsoft Community and hope you are doing well.

According to my query, some users in the community have also reported this problem. Since Windows is transferring the function of video clips since the 22H2 version, it may be a known problem that the clips in your photos application will not compress in size (under investigation ) , here are some steps you can try to fix:

• Open the photo app > tap the photo icon (red box) > as shown:

• Once you can see the selected video file in the project library > add it and 'Clip' > then click ' Finish Video ', make sure you choose to save it as a high quality 1080p HD , you can choose to save it , this time there should be no increase in file size.
  
• Instead of using the features in your photo program, you could try opening the video file with Movie & TV > then select Trim from the pencil menu in the lower right corner of the toolbar . The old Photo editing tools will open, and when you trim and save, the video will be compressed as before.

Music clips - Microsoft Photos / Video Editor App

Are the music clips on Microsoft photos / Video Editor app (that can be used as background) copywrite free? i.e. can I publish my video using the clips available as standard?

 

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.
