Windows 10: Microsoft Pinyin

Microsoft Pinyin doesn't work correctly. I could type characters in Windows search bar and that's it. It doesn't work in browsers, Microsoft Office and any other apps that I usually use. Some days ago it worked. Please, help to return it. Maybe some drivers or necessary files have been deleted there was a virus on my computer and antivirus deleted several files but I tried all the restoring methods posted here in similar topics and it didn't help.

Keyboard input for pinyin Traditional Chinese

There are many more similar suggestions, which come (as of today) to a combined value of 868 votes. Is there any possibility to have the redundant suggestions combined into one?

Could not find a Chinese input named: MS Shuangpin( 双拼） on Win10. Only MS Wubi （五笔）& MS Pinyin（拼音）available, where can i get it?

We understand the inconvenience caused to you. Let me assist you with further information from here.

Shuangpin can be defined as 'two letter pinyin' or 'double pinyin', i.e. to reduce the amount of keystrokes of the pinyin input method. I suggest you to follow the below steps for Shuangpin layout.

• Open Settings and choose Region and Language and add Chinese (Simplified) as a language.
• After selecting the desired language input in the previous step and click on Options under the Simplified Chinese Input Method .
• In the following page select Options under Microsoft Pinyin
  Input Method Editor.
• Choose "Microsoft Double Pin style" under Choose Pinyin style. Also, set the toggler to off for
  Reading auto correction.
• Exit the windows and check with the results.

I just want to set simple Chinese pinyin software of both google pinyin and Microsoft pinyin

Based on the category of Windows / Windows 11 / Input and language, It seems that you are trying to Install google pinyin and Microsoft pinyin on your PC. First of all, for Microsoft PinYin, it comes with the system. You only need to run Chinese Windows on your system, and then follow the steps below to install your Pinyin input method:

On Windows 10 and Windows 11:

1. Press to Windows + I open Settings.
   
2. Click on 'Time & language'. -> Select 'Language' from the sidebar. In Windows 11, you may need to select 'Language & region'.
   
3. Click on 'Add a language' or 'Add a preferred language'.
   
4. In the search bar, type "Chinese" and select "Chinese (Simplified, China)" based on your preference.
   
5. Click 'Next' and then 'Install'. Windows will download and install the language pack.
   
6. Once installed, click on the newly added language and select 'Options'. Under the Keyboards section, make sure 'Microsoft Pinyin' is added. If not, click 'Add a keyboard' and select 'Microsoft Pinyin'.
   

As for the Google Pinyin, This is a very old input method. In the early days, Google developed this input method specially for Chinese users, but it has stopped operating on Windows 10/11.
