Windows 10: Microsoft please add setting for disable anti aliasing in Photos Viewer :

I was very happy with yesterday's version because MsPhotos was finally able to view pixel art images directly, but just after updating it turned out to be blurry again : I looked for the problem in the community and apparently someone said that MsPhotos becoming Jaggies/Pixelated was a bug, why not just provide a setting option to turn off anti-aliasing? it's a simple feature but very useful

Windows 10: disable anti-aliasing for specific font

In Linux, I can disable anti-aliasing for a specific font using fontconfig filters. In Windows 10, it seems it's only possible to globally disable anti-aliasing / clear type globally for all applicable fonts.

Is there a registry setting (or something I could do to the TTF directly using FontForge) to indicate that Windows 10 should not render a particular font using anti-aliasing /clear typing?

 

No option to disable anti-aliasing in control panel.

My video needs to be set to balanced, or else it has stuttering issues. So I can only change it on a single program basis. By default, anti-aliasing is on. The game getting a problem from this is Halo, but I can't change anti-aliasing to off in the control panel. There is simply no "off" option for anti-aliasing mode. There is only Use Global Setting, Application-controlled (still causes crash), and Enhance the Application Setting. There's no off, and that's the only setting it will accept.

 

How delete new Microsoft Photo Viewer and get back my Win Photo Viewer

Thanks guys for all the help. I haven't made the update yet but I am sure your suggestions will do the job. Like everyone else I HATE IT WHEN MS PULL THIS S@#$. - - - Updated - - - I also found this. It worked great: It's easy to get the trusty old Windows Photo Viewer back -- simply open up Settings and go to System > Default apps. Under "Photo viewer," you should see your current default photo viewer (probably the new Photos app). Click this to see a list of options for a new default photo viewer. Choose Windows Photo Viewer and exit the Settings menu, and you're done -- photos will now open up in Windows Photo Viewer.
