    Microsoft pop-up scam

My Mom fell victim to the pop-up scam a few weeks ago. She downloaded UltraViewer and the scammers had remote access to her computer. We uninstalled the app. Unfortunately, there are still a couple of bits and pieces that we can't get rid of. We reported this to Microsoft on Monday, July 8, but they have not yet replied, which is very disappointing. We did not even receive an email confirming that we sent the report. My Mother also received a couple of deposits to her bank account, but her bank is handling that part.Anyway, be careful out there, everyone!* Changed to a discussion
