Windows 10: Microsoft Power Tools & batch resize: do JPEGS experience lossy-ness?

When using Microsoft Power Tools to batch resize JPEGs specifically, enlarge them, do they experience any loss of quality?Obviously, I know that a small image of low resolution will look worse when enlarged. But if I want to slightly enlarge an image that's already pretty big, will the act of resizing with Power Tools introduce any additional image degradation? THANKS!

Batch Sorting of 50 JPEG files

I use Win 19 and have 300 jpeg's in a folder and to make my next work steps easier I need to use a BATCH process routine to RENAME all of the PHOTOS preferably going from something like river.jpeg to 10.jpeg. Then lake.jpeg to 20.jpeg and so on. That
way I'll have a new file starting with 10.jpeg , 20.jpeg and so on for the entire file in the folder. This BATCH processing move can save me a bundle of time. There are over 300 photos in this project. Thnax.

How to I resize a BATCH of photos so i don't have to do them individually? THank you

I'm using Windows 10

Currently I go to File Explore, Home tab - which opens Picture Tools

Then I select Edit

Then resize

BUt it takes forever to do it individually..

It's under Tools > Batch Processing...

















After the conversion, just Search the folder the pics are located in... for the unwanted (.jpg) pics and delete them.
Or during the Batch Processing, you can just have the converted pics sent to a different directory.
Then just delete the old directory.





All in all it's a handy little program...
