Windows 10: Microsoft PowerTools - Mouse without Boards

Hi Friends, Hope everyone is well. I just installed the Microsoft PowerTools and the tool about the mouse without boards doesn't work. When I try to generate a new key it just does not generate, and nothing populates on it, I tried reinstalling, and the same thing happens on my surface, so I am wondering if it might be a bug or if I need to active something before generating a new key. Any help will be great. Thank you!

• Go to Settings.
• Click Devices.
• Scroll down, then select Device manager.
• Look for the mouse icon, then click it.
• Right-click on the available drivers.
• Select Uninstall.
• Re-connect your Microsoft mouse, so that the system will reinstall the correct driver.
