    Microsoft PowerTools - Mouse without Boards


    Hi Friends, Hope everyone is well. I just installed the Microsoft PowerTools and the tool about the mouse without boards doesn't work. When I try to generate a new key it just does not generate, and nothing populates on it, I tried reinstalling, and the same thing happens on my surface, so I am wondering if it might be a bug or if I need to activate something before generating a new key.     Hi Richard,

    Since the above suggestions didn't work on your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps below for us to further locate the device driver that has been causing conflict on your system.

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click Devices.
    • Scroll down, then select Device manager.
    • Look for the mouse icon, then click it.
    • Right-click on the available drivers.
    • Select Uninstall.
    • Re-connect your Microsoft mouse, so that the system will reinstall the correct driver.
